I co-founded Remail and worked on it from September 2022 to March 2023. The product used AI to help people draft email replies, bringing a practical writing assistant into the inbox.
From intent to a draft
Remail's email workflow lets a person indicate the kind of reply they want, or briefly describe what they want to say, and receive a draft they can review. The focus is the everyday task of composing a response in context.
The project was acquired. Remail has since expanded its offering beyond email into a broader AI assistant.
